Free visual inspection and a written scope of work before any mitigation begins - photos, moisture readings, and drying logs go in your claim file
The scope we write is the scope we bill. Anything new gets shown to you, in writing, before we touch it.
Meet the Oceanside Team Behind DryMark Restoration Oceanside
We’re the crew that shows up when water’s still running through your kitchen or smoke damage has turned your hallway black. Every technician on our Oceanside team is background-checked, uniformed, and licensed before they step onto your property. What ties us together isn’t a handbook. It’s that we all answer to the same thing: a written price before work starts, a photo record of every visit, and the 365-Day Done Right Promise stamped on every job under Haven Standard, Clause 1.
Our People
Alicia Brennan, Owner
I started DryMark Restoration Oceanside in 2011 after six years working claims on the adjuster side. I got tired of watching homeowners lose tens of thousands because a restoration crew didn’t photograph the pre-loss condition or document their drying logs to IICRC standards. So I built this company around the gap: every job gets a written scope and price before anyone touches a tool, and every visit produces a photo record that turns restoration invoices into payable claims. I still review every written estimate that goes out of this office, and I answer the phone myself when the after-hours line rings. When I’m not on a job site, I’m usually running the coast trail with my dog, who has no opinion on vapor pressure differential but tolerates my lectures anyway.
Marcus T., Lead Water Technician
Marcus has been drying structures in North County San Diego for fourteen years, and he’s seen every variation of Oceanside’s particular headache: the fog-driven condensation that hits stucco homes in South O, the slab leaks in 1970s ranch houses off Mission Avenue, the second-story toilet supply lines that fail while owners are at Camp Pendleton. He’s IICRC-certified in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD), and he trains every apprentice on how to read a psychrometric chart, which is just a fancy way of measuring whether the air in your walls is actually dry or just feels dry. Marcus carries a notebook where he sketches moisture migration patterns like football plays. He’ll show it to you if you ask.
Elena R., Senior Mold Remediation Installer
Elena came to us from a commercial abatement background in 2019, and she brought a rigor that changed how we handle containment. She’s certified through IICRC in Mold Remediation (AMRT) and specializes in the tertiary drying phase, that final push where most crews pack up too early and leave dormant spores behind. In Oceanside, she sees a lot of coastal humidity rebound in homes near the lagoon, where homeowners think the mold’s gone because they can’t smell it anymore. Elena’s the one who stays until the air sample numbers match the protocol, not just the nose test. She speaks Spanish with our bilingual customers without making it a thing, and she keeps a running list of every trade name she’s worked with, from Dri-Eaz to Injectidry, ranked by how honestly they report their CFM output.
Darnell J., Service Coordinator
Darnell answers the phones that ring at 2 a.m. when a water heater fails in Fire Mountain or a sewage backup hits a duplex in Crown Heights. He’s the live person on the other end of every call, no voicemail tree, no “leave a message and we’ll call back tomorrow.” Darnell schedules the dispatch, confirms the written scope with every customer before the crew rolls, and follows up with the photo record within two hours of each visit. He’s been with us since 2017, and he knows every adjuster at every major carrier who handles Oceanside claims by first name. Darnell’s detail is that he was a firefighter in Riverside County before this, so when he says “we’re on our way,” he means it the way someone who’s driven to actual emergencies means it.
Kai W., Restoration Apprentice
Kai joined us in 2023 after completing the construction technology program at MiraCosta College. He’s our youngest crew member and our most relentless documenter, probably because he came up on smartphones and doesn’t understand why anyone wouldn’t photograph every square foot. Kai’s learning the equipment lineup fast, from Phoenix dehumidifiers to XPOWER air movers, and he’s already certified in WRT. Alicia assigned him to Marcus for a full year because Marcus doesn’t let anyone touch a customer’s drywall until they can explain vapor pressure differential in plain English, which Kai now can, though he still practices in the truck. Kai surfs dawn patrol at Harbor Beach before shifts and has strong opinions about which wetsuit thickness actually works in Oceanside’s 65-degree water.
One Standard, Every Job

DryMark Restoration Oceanside operates independently under The Haven Standard, the same framework that governs every crew in our network across California. What that means on your job: Haven Standard, Clause 1 requires a written price before any work starts, with no scope-creep additions once we’re inside your home. Every visit produces a documented photo record, included as standard, never an upsell. Our drying logs are formatted to IICRC, RIA, and IFA standards so your adjuster can read them without translation. And the 365-Day Done Right Promise is a signed guarantee, not a verbal assurance, stamped on every invoice. Whether you call us at noon or midnight, you’ll reach a live person who can dispatch a named, licensed, background-checked technician with equipment from Dri-Eaz, Phoenix, XPOWER, B-Air, or Injectidry already loaded. That’s the standard. It doesn’t change because you’re in Oceanside instead of Irvine, or because it’s Sunday, or because your job is small. We’ve restored over 12,000 homes since 2011, and every one of them started with a written price and ended with documentation that held up.
